Are you tired of me counting days and weeks and years??? hahahaha - I just realize most of my posts have to do with counting how many days until or how many days since (or weeks or months or years). this my friends is largely due to my mother and her mother. :) Keeping track of time and always remembering dates and always talking about the past or looking forward to events in the future. this my friends, is my nature so I will always do this. (but I might add - I'm no where near as good at it as my mother is, but I think I'm getting better at it as I get older)
Today marks 3 weeks since we showed up in Fort Collins, in fact as I look down at the time on the computer it is EXACTLY 3 weeks!!!!!
You know what that means, my friends??????
3 weeks and exactly 5 days since my last
Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla Iced Coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I'm trying to come to terms with it - I miss them dearly. There are no Dunkin Donuts in sight for miles and miles and miles and miles. :( Mostly I miss having such an affordable drink to buy. There's just something about heading out to run errands and being able to buy a drink and sip it. Does anyone else like that?
It hasn't been too hard saying good bye to my beloved drink, but I do miss sipping that great refreshing drink.
They do have plenty of Starbucks, but it's hard for me to dish out $2 for a tiny tiny drink and it just isn't the same. Mind you - I do enjoy a good coffee from Starbucks - but can't compare to the DD's iced coffee mostly when it comes to price. (hot coffee is a whole other ball game my friends, I'm a lot snobbier when it comes to that)
Friends - I am surviving and still enjoy life even without my drink. :)

I like to make my own iced coffee. I use 1 cup of strongly brewed and then cooled coffee (or espresso if you have an espresso machine), 1 cup of chocolate milk, and 1-2 tbsp of creamer. Also Burger King has seattle's best coffee that is not too bad.
I hope you can find something there that is equal to Dunko's, price-wise and taste wise! At least that's the ONLY thing so far that is sort of negative to your new place! I can't wait to visit to see what places there are there! And, yes, you do get that counting from your mother and grandmother!!!!:-)
